Newsiest news

There's a big bit of news today. Big news. A certain you-know-who and a certain you-know-what. I saw a post in a Yahoo groups thread and I thought, "Oh Dear. I think I know what that'll be.". I usually avoid big bits of news like this because I want to be surprised when it happens but I saw the title of my friend's post and even that was a dead giveaway so I read it anyway. And then I went on to one of my fave websites and it was all over there on the front page. And then I went on its forum and it was all over there. And I'm at a wedding this weekend with people-who-will-want-to-talk-about-this. I can't run and I certainly can't hide. So for anyone who has managed to avoid the news thus far I'd like to say "Well done you!".

And no, I'm not going to say what it is. I don't want to spoil it for people.
